Standardized Paranormal Research Techniques or S.P.R.T. (Spirit) for short, is a collective desire to truly understand the paranormal world from a genuinely scientific perspective. With thousands of paranormal groups out there, each with their own professional backgrounds and unique ways to investigate the unknown, now is the time to unify those efforts into a standardized practice. By standardizing techniques in the field, just like any other area of science, we are able to verify and compare results and truly push this field into the scientific community. With dozens of standard protocols out there for engineering and science fields (IEEE, ASTM, Etc…), to really break meaningful ground in the areas of paranormal research we need to come together and unify our practices in order to collect accurate and repeatable data that can be analyzed and tested. This is the only way to scientific discovery via the scientific method. As a group of engineers and scientists, we feel as if it is our duty to educate the paranormal community on our collaborative efforts and once again unify our techniques in order to reach our common goal of discovering the unknown.
